Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for support during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Funding is intended to assist local nonprofits that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic as they work to support vulnerable community members in need. Eligible applicants are located in and serve Snohomish County. The funds received must be used to cover operating expenses such as payroll, rent, utilities, and business licensing fees that have not been previously accounted for.

One of the Foundation's major goals is to ensure that resources are equitably distributed and that Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-led nonprofits impacted by COVID have the opportunity to apply for funding to stabilize their organization. The focus of the program is on nonprofits that serve diverse and/or marginalized populations and have an annual operating budget of $500,000 or less. The process will be sensitive to geographic diversity as well.

Priority Consideration:

  • Organizations that are led by representatives of diverse and/or marginalized populations
  • Organizations that are led by BIPOC- Black, Indigenous and People of Color
  • Organizations that primarily serve BIPOC- Black, Indigenous and People of Color
  • Organizations that are led by people with lived experience
  • Organizations with a diverse board of directors
