Junior League of Yakima (JLY)
Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations for community service projects that create new opportunities, promote positive self-image, and empower teenage girls in eligible regions. Funding is intended to support projects that benefit the community, including one-time events. Projects must serve residents of the greater Yakima County region, and must provide opportunities for volunteerism for the Junior League of Yakima’s members.
The Junior League of Yakima is an organization of women over the age of 21 committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership as trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
