Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to assist local residents during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Eligible expenses include household food delivery services and assistance with paying bills. Applicants must be located in the City of Mountlake Terrace.

To assist the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Mountlake Terrace, Washington is requesting proposals from nonprofit organizations to provide food delivery services to the housebound and to distribute funds to help Mountlake Terrace residents pay unmet bills.

Purpose

The City of Mountlake Terrace is seeking qualified nonprofit organizations to provide and distribute quality nutritious food to the community’s housebound and food insecure residents, as well as help Mountlake Terrace residents pay their unmet bills. “Unmet bills” may include rent, childcare, utilities, car repairs and more to help residents be able to retain their home and be able to work.

An initial allocation of $10,000 maximum to each nonprofit for each service.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Requirements:
-Must be a nonprofit organization registered with the Washington Secretary of State.
-Must have a physical location within the Edmonds School District.
-Must be able to comply with Washington State reporting criteria for the use of CARES Act funds.
