Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations working to support and strengthen the organizational capacity of BIPOC-led organizations in eligible locations. The purpose of the program is to improve the stability, resilience, and effectiveness of these essential minority-led nonprofits as they respond to major disruptions and emerging and long-standing community needs. Funds must benefit organizations in the Greater Seattle area.

Seattle Foundation is committed to nonprofit effectiveness, and the overall health of the sector. Grants will be made to local capacity building intermediaries, which have deep experience with providing programs that sustain the effectiveness and stability of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-led organizations.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Seattle Foundation grant cycles are open to eligible local nonprofits. Nonprofit Effectiveness grants will be made to local capacity building intermediaries, which have deep experience with providing programs that sustain the effectiveness and stability of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-led organizations.
