Grants to Oregon and Washington public charities and religious organizations in eligible regions to benefit the local Jewish community. Priority is given to proposals addressing Jewish education, arts and culture, community building and development, and social welfare and health. OJCF’s mission is to build and promote a culture of giving in Oregon and Southwest Washington that supports a thriving Jewish community now and for generations to come. Seventy-five percent of funds granted in 2022 supported Jewish organizations impacting the Portland-area Jewish community.

Second priority is given to other projects (Jewish or general) involving Jewish culture that:
Represent an innovative start-up effort
Promote collaboration without duplicating services
Organizations must be a public charity, religious organization, or sponsored by a public charity. Organizations must be based in Oregon or Southwest Washington.
