Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations in eligible counties to address vital community needs emerging from the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Funding is intended to support nonprofits that assist local residents with housing, food security, safety, health, and childcare for pre-K children. Funded projects must benefit Chelan, Okanogan, and Douglas Counties.
The Helping Hands Grant 2.0 is intended to support people in the Foundation's region who have been most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds are available to nonprofits and public agencies providing critical safety-net needs for community members due to the socio-economic and health impacts of the pandemic in the region.
Requests should be directly connected to the current public health crisis and providing direct services to individuals in the communities served by the Foundation. Helping Hands grants are intended to help with the following pandemic-related impacts:
