Grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to Washington nonprofit organizations to enhance the quality of life in the City of Edmonds and South Snohomish County. Program areas include education, health, human services, environment, arts, culture, humanities, capacity building, and community improvements.

Although operating support requests are considered, specific program/event support and small capital projects are preferred.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be classified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a 501(c)(3) public charity.

The Edmonds School District #15 is used as the specific geographical boundary in qualifying grant requests.

The Foundation does not consider grant requests from individuals and does not support organizations attempting to influence policy through direct lobbying or any political campaigns.

The committee does not typically consider grant support for staff salaries.

Pre-Application Information:

Online grant applications should be received no later than the 20th of January, April, August or October in order to be considered at the next grants meeting. The grants committee meets quarterly in February, May, September and November.

Please submit online applications by 11:59 PM on the day of the foundation’s deadline date. If the deadline falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, applications are due on the next business day by 11:59 PM.

Decisions will be issued 3-4 months following proposal submission.
