Grants to Washington farms and organizations in eligible regions for projects related to agricultural production. The purpose of the program is to address market expansion, critical farm needs, and flood recovery. An emphasis is placed on farmers facing systemic barriers. Examples of potential grant projects include seeds, equipment, materials, plants, bins, expansion of sales channels, market or farm expansion, etc. Applicants in Skagit County must either supply Whatcom County or serve Whatcom County farms as part of their program.
