Grants to Washington individual artists, community groups, and arts and cultural organizations for art programs that benefit Kent area residents. Funding is intended to encourage, support, and develop community arts activities. Funding may also be used for innovation opportunities and to develop unique services that are outside the scope of the funding source's existing programming.
Organizations and individuals receiving funding must provide quantifiable public benefits. This may include special promotional materials to low-income or multi-cultural audiences, reduced cost tickets, free community outreach, plans for physical access to the facility for persons using wheelchairs and plans for program accessibility for audience members with hearing or visual impairment.
